Honey☆Hime is an Italian idol group that aims to spread J-pop (Japanese pop) music through their interactive performances. The group is formed of three members, Kanako, Doki and Puchiko and as a group they have done over 50 performances since their debut on January 2015.
They have been guests at many important conventions such as Lucca Comics and Games, London MCM, Festa dell’Unicorno, Riminicomix and San Marino Comics and have also been part of different asian themed events. The type of performance they offer is a combination of singing and dancing live, where the audience is actively involved through the use of penlights, video and audio.
In October 2016, the group released their first album of original songs in Japanese, “Bee Yourself”, becoming the first idol group to produce a CD in Italy.
On December 20, 2017, Honey Hime, in collaboration with song writer and composer Bratt Sinclaire, released "We Wanna Have It All" for the Super Eurobeat Compilation under the Japanese record company AVEX.
On January 14, 2018, Honey Hime's song "HONEY HYPE!" won The 11th J-MELO Awards for "Best Original Song of 2017."
On November 12, 2018, they announced a new subunit, PizzaYolo, consisting of the original trio in addition to two new members, Esther and Franska. The subunit debuted March 11, 2019 with their original song "PIZZA PIZZA."
